Welcome to Ealing LETS !

Hello - Ealing LETS is up and trading, so don't hold back! The committee meets regularly and frequently to plan events, develop and tweak policies, procedures and tools, and last met 29th June at Andree's place (minutes out soon). The committee first met on 8th April following on from a successful launch on Thursday 18th March 2010 attended by twenty people, at which the revised Constitution and Members' Agreement were accepted as "working documents", and a committee of seven members was elected. Any aspirations or ideas, please let us have them and watch this space for further announcements! - our first newsletter will be out soon too.


Ealing LETS at Hanwell Carnival

The first public appearance of post-revival Ealing LETS was at Hanwell Carnival in Elthorne Park on 19th June. Despite rather a blustery day the turnout was good and quite a number of people were interested in finding out more about us. Those who visited the stall read our displays which gave information about what Lets is and how it works. We had a large board giving lots of ideas for trading. Three former members re-enrolled and one new application was received; our leaflets were popular and very interested noises were made by a number of people new to Ealing Lets or the Lets movement in general. The on-line system was in operation with a mobile broadband connection, so that we could demonstrate to visitors how this on-line system works.
